A SAMZON pallet inverter clamps a full pallet load and turns it 90 or 180 degrees. That lets you swap wooden pallets for plastic ones, replace broken pallets, remove slip sheets or freezer spacers, and reach damaged goods at the bottom of the load – without lifting a single box by hand. Available both manually operated and semi-automatic. Our pallet inverters, also known as pallet flippers, pallet turners or pallet tippers, are used in printing, food, pharmaceutical and logistics operations across Europe, Asia and South America.
Developed and manufactured in Denmark. Every SAMZON pallet inverter is designed, built and tested at our own factory in Dalmose, Denmark – and every machine is CE marked as standard.
The pallet is placed in the inverter with a pallet jack or electric stacker (FL series) or a forklift or electric stacker (DC series). Two platforms close around the load with adjustable clamping pressure, so even light or fragile products are held securely without damage. The machine then rotates the load:
Manual push-button operation as standard, or semi-automatic operation with automatic cycle, PLC, HMI touch panel and safety light barriers. Capacity is 20–30 pallet exchanges per hour, depending on model.
FL series (floor level): the platform runs down to the floor and a low ramp lets you drive the load in with a pallet jack or electric stacker – no forklift needed.
DC series (dual clamp): both platforms move and there is no ramp; the load is placed with a forklift or an electric stacker (minimum loading height approx. 500 mm).

For food processing, frozen storage and pharmaceutical production, the DCINOX2000-15 is built entirely in stainless steel 304L with a washable design and hydraulic movement. It handles 1500 kg loads up to 2000 mm high and is ideal for swapping wooden pallets to plastic pallets at the entrance to hygienic areas.

A SAMZON pallet inverter rotates the load with its original pallet 180 degrees, turning the product upside down. The old pallet is then removed and replaced with a new one by the operator, and the load is turned back.
It takes slightly longer per cycle than a pallet changer and requires that the product can be turned upside down. The advantage is that it can also stop at 90 degrees, so the platforms separate slightly and you can remove cardboard, paper or freezer spacers between the layers.
Choose manual push-button operation or an automatic cycle, with 20–30 pallet exchanges per hour depending on model. The pallet inverter is the cost-effective choice when the product can be turned and an operator places the new pallet.
The advantage of using a pallet changer is that you avoid all manual handling of products and pallets when performing a pallet change.
This machine can change approximately 30 pallets an hour and can handle a large variety of products.

The main frame is powder coated as standard, or available galvanised or in stainless steel AISI 304. A sensor clamping system lets you set the clamping force precisely from the HMI panel – from a few kilos for fragile goods up to high pressure for heavy loads.

The advantage in using an automated cycle is that you ensure that the operator only must press the start button on the control panel – the machine the runs through the entire sequence automatically.
This gives the operator time to handle pallets or other tasks in between sequences.
To use the automatic cycle, safety measures are required to ensure personnel cannot get under the machine during a cycle. Safety measures include safety fence and safety light barriers.
We often see that a galvanised surface is chosen for machines in the medico and food industries where products might get in contact with the machine.
It may also be an advantage is the pallet changer is intended to run in moist conditions.
This is a recommended choice if there are no alternative ways of supplying the machine with air.
We attach a small “low-noise” compressor to the pallet changer.
Choosing the external start option, allows the operator to activate the machine using a pull string or external button. This may for instance allow the operator to activate the machine while sitting in their forklift or other vehicles.
It is possible to add safety or warning lights to the pallet changer, which by using various colours will indicate whether the machine is running, has experienced stoppage or needs servicing.
A package with spare parts is often chosen to ensure you have the most necessary spare parts in stock in case of stoppage, allowing for decreased maintenance time.
